The Prevention Coordinator oversees SafeSpace's child abuse prevention and education program activities. This position coordinates and provides awareness-raising break the cycle of child abuse and neglect. The Community Prevention Coordinator also facilitates the agency's peer support groups and represents the agency at community events and child abuse prevention activities. The Forensic Interviewer is a member of the clinical team. Core responsibilities of the position include conducting developmentally and culturally sensitive interviews of children and adolescents referred for assessment. Assessments can include concerns of sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, and domestic violence.
